If you’re looking for a great venue for live music, theater, and movies then you need not look any further than the multifaceted TCAN (The Center for the Arts Natick) of Natick MA.
A renovated firehouse that is still set ablaze with great music throughout the year, you will find a comfortably seated venue that is well managed and cared for by a group of volunteers who are dedicated to the arts.
Regardless if you are headed in for a movie on their upstairs screen, or headed into the venue for theater and live music, you are sure to have a good evening. With an easy ride in just off of Route 9, you will find nearby an ample parking lot along with on street parking as well that makes for a convenient location to enjoy an evening out with family, friends, solo, and with that significant other.
TCAN offers a membership driven focus to help fund the venue on its base level, a membership that also gives you access to discounts as well as early access to tickets for great acts that come through the area. It is also easily accessible to the general public as well.
My two most recent visits were to see Walter Trout (with guest Tyler Morris), and the Band of Friends featuring Davy Knowles. They also bring in artists such as James Montgomery, Coco Montoya with Tinsley Ellis, Peter Wolf and the Midnight Travelers, John Butcher, and Johnny A. And this is just a very short list of the fantastic lineup of artists that they host.
The staff and crew that run this venue have consistently been welcoming, professional, and kind. Showing a genuine care for the arts that they hold dear, you can count on a staff that want to ensure you’ve a good night of fun.
I fully expect to be back to this venue again very soon, and I hope that I will see you there as well!
Check out their calendar of events and consider becoming a yearly member of this institution that is continuing to work very hard to bring art and music into our communities!
