Bull Run RESTAURANT

The Bull Run is a family owned long time establishment in central Mass. With large venue spaces for private functions and a great setting for live music, you’ll truly enjoy your time in Shirley MA.

They host a variety of entertainment, and have a dedicated staff who are sure to make the evening eventful.

Chan’s fine oriental dining (egg rolls and jazz)

Chan’s is quite the experience for someone who's not been there before, and continues to be a great experience for the veteran attendee alike.

I'm constantly impressed with the names that John is able to bring into the venue, which just goes to show why they have had a musical tradition that has lasted 30+ years. He truly is on a mission to keep live music, and in my view the Blues particularly, alive and well.

He was recently inducted into the Rhode Island Blues Hall of Fame. In addition to many other nominations and awards. (Which, by the way, also includes Best Oriental Restaurant in Northern Rhode Island by Rhode Island monthly.)

Black-Eyed Sally’s

With a name like Black-Eyed Sally’s, you know you’re in for something interesting. In the heart of downtown Hartford CT, Sally’s is one of those spots that blends perfectly into a bohemian big city setting but would equally be at home in a less than metro area. Which is to say, it’s a great place to go for music and fun no matter which you’re looking for.

The staff are professional, friendly, and attentive. This venue is set up in a diner turned music hall turned private space to dine all at the same time and they’ve made each compliment the other nicely.

Iron Horse music hall

The Iron Horse Music Hall is located in the heart of Northampton MA, and has that downtown "smallish town" feel. The venue lends itself truly to the feel of an intimate Blues club. And it's one that brings in big artists!

From the outside you would never know the depth of what is yet to come. The staff are all quite friendly and work hard to keep up with a packed room at showtime. They truly put their full energy into the work, and that energy pays off in a great evening out!

NARRAGANSETT Cafe´

One of the first things that I noticed when I arrived at the Narragansett Café was that in this idyllic waterfront town, Jamestown Rhode Island, of beautiful streets lined with trees and shops. Something you never really know before going to a new venue is what the area will be like let alone the real world experience versus the online best pictures only posted kind of world.

I can promise you that in this case it is truly a lovely location. With easy street parking and on a rocking Sunday afternoon you’ll enjoy great Blues from local and nationally touring bands, all with no cover. Great drinks and food are available.

There’s a different special guest band/artist each week! Be sure to sign up for their mailing list.
